SANS Institute recently brought a selection of their world-leading training courses to Cardiff. This was the first time SANS had run a regional event and Pervade Software were keen to support this move to elevating cyber skills in Wales. As such, two of the team attended the SANS 560 Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking course.

After a fantastic week with the SANS team, John and Jason from the Pervade team were joined by David and John (fellow Welsh countrymen) for the final Capture the Flag Challenge to conclude the course. After a closely fought competition, the team finished with success becoming SANS CTF Victors.
